Our Volunteer of the Month, Sue DeSmith, has been volunteering at the Geneseo Food Pantry for about 5 years. Sue assists guests as they choose their groceries at the Food Pantry. She has a husband, Jerry, two children and four grandchildren. Sue’s hobbies are: Hiking, snowshoeing, kayaking, camping, and helping on the farm. She said the best thing about volunteering at the Food Pantry is helping people. Sue’s most memorable experience at the Food Pantry was when school supplies were distributed and Sue saw how happy a little girl was with her new backpack!  Thank you for volunteering, Sue!

The Food Pantry will be closed on Monday, October 11, in observance of Columbus Day.
